We’re still smiling from Friday night.
Our very first Steppin Out R&B Line Dance Party at Camouflage Café brought together an amazing crowd, full of energy, music, and movement. For a first event, the turnout and atmosphere were better than we could have hoped for.
It genuinely felt like something special from the very start.
💃🏾 A Different Kind of Line Dancing
This wasn’t your typical line dancing night.
We brought a fresh, modern twist — combining R&B, Afrobeats, and feel-good throwbacks with easy-to-follow routines that got everyone involved.
Whether people were stepping in for the first time or already had rhythm, the dance floor stayed active all night.
The focus wasn’t perfection — it was:

The energy in the room was incredible.
From the moment the music started, people were up, engaged, and enjoying themselves. There was a real sense of connection — people dancing, laughing, and encouraging each other throughout the night.

A big highlight of the night was Chris, our resident DJ, who kept the music flowing and the vibe alive.
Chris, who has a learning disability, plays an important role at Camouflage Café. Seeing him on the decks and the crowd responding so positively reflects exactly what we stand for — inclusion, opportunity, and community in action.

What made the evening stand out wasn’t just the dancing — it was the feeling in the room.
This wasn’t just an event.
It was people coming together, connecting, and being part of something positive.
